The U13 Hawks put in a determined performance in a hard-fought 2-1 defeat against Uckfield Grasshoppers. The game began evenly, with both teams sharing possession and chances early on. After 15 minutes, Uckfield took the lead with a swift counterattack, capped off by a tidy finish.

Biggin Hill responded just 10 minutes later, launching a counterattack of their own. Frankie’s clever assist found Jack, who unleashed a powerful strike from range, beating the goalkeeper and bringing the Hawks level. However, just before the halftime whistle, Uckfield regained the lead with a superb cross and an impressive first-time finish.

The second half was a showcase of heroic defending and goalkeeping from both sides, as no further goals were added. In the final moments, Biggin Hill nearly equalized from another counterattack, but Uckfield's keeper pulled off a crucial save just before the final whistle.

Spitfires Men Draw against Tadworth Colts

​

We have to settle for a point after conceding a heartbreaking last minute equaliser against Tadworth Colts.
We started the first half strongly, playing some nice football and going into the break 2-0 up thanks to a calmly dispatched penalty from Jamie, and a delicate lob from Dean.
Things fell apart in the second half and we were on the back foot, unfortunately leading to us conceding the equaliser with almost the last kick of the game. Work to do before next game. We go again.
Man of the match went to our #1 Jimmy in goal with a world class performance. Thoughts and prayers to our vice captain Steve who unfortunately broke his wrist during the game. Speedy recovery

​Hawks U13s Dominate in Spectacular 7-2 Win Over Holland Sports Youth U13 Lynx

 

The U13 Hawks soared to an incredible 7-2 victory against Holland Sports Youth U13 Lynx, delivering their best performance of the season so far. The team worked brilliantly together, with standout performances across the pitch. Keeper Ralph impressed with his improved kicking, while Alex played like Gareth Bale at left back, netting an outstanding hat-trick. Rico and Jacob were rocks at the back, with Rico channeling his inner Maldini and Jacob sweeping everything up like a tank.

 

Kyle's recovery runs were superb, and when moved up front, he added two more goals to the Hawks' tally. Clark was defensively solid, heading the ball with precision and making key plays throughout the match. In midfield, captain Sam and Josh brought energy and control, with Josh scoring a brilliant free kick. Sami celebrated his first goal of the season in style, and Frankie dazzled on the wing, beating three players before delivering a perfect cross.

 

New boys Harry and Alfie made valuable debuts, settling in seamlessly, while Tommy’s defending and work rate were as consistent as ever. Jack’s sublime passing in the number 10 role and Riley’s crucial role in transitioning the ball from midfield to attack rounded off an exceptional team performance.
